Top Nigerian singer, Ayodeji ‘Wizkid’ Balogun has won the 2021 NAACP Image Award for his collaboration with Beyonce on Brown Skin Girl.
This makes it his second NAACP award as he got nominated for The ‘Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration’ for the same song in 2020 and won.
National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is organised to honor outstanding performances in film, television, music, and literature.
Beyonce‘s Brown Skin Girl featuring Wizkid, Saint JHN, and Blue Ivy won the ‘Outstanding Music Video/Visual Album’ of the year at the 52nd NAACP Image Award.
