The musician’s spokesperson, however, said he is fast recuperating.

“I can confirm that [DMX] has been taken off life support and is now breathing on his own,” the spokesperson told Yahoo Entertainment in an email on Saturday.
“Still not out of the woods yet.” The rep added, “I’m unaware of what caused his heart attack.”
