David Adeleke, the African music icon also known as Davido, has opened up on the inspiration behind his 2020 smash single, FEM.
In a video shared on YouTube by Napji, the DMW in-house producer behind the FEM beat, Davido who disclosed that his producer made the beat from scratch to finish, added that the song was the biggest tune in 2020.
Napji also gave a step by step breakdown for fans to follow the stages involved in the FEM instrumental making process.
According to the producer, he got the inspiration for the beat while he was at Peruzzi’s house with Davido.

The video was recorded ahead of the official release date of the highly anticipated “A Better Time” album, but was uploaded over the weekend.
Napji was also the magic finger behind Jowo and Sunlight on the album.
