The All Youth Awards, MAYA, created to showcase, appreciate and motivate African youths whose ideas, works, causes and activities, have helped in the sustenance and development of the continent with a set goal of adding more values to young persons and by extension, eradicate societal decadence will hold in November 2023.
The project, which birthed in 2014 in the city of Ibadan, has gone on to host 9 editions with 8 of it hosted in Lagos while this 10th edition is going back to Ibadan, where the whole project started.
In his words, the founder and project head, Ademola Ajibola, said “the 10th edition is very very special to him, because for one, it gives him the feeling of having a child that’s grown to become 10 in his eyes with full health and resounding success.
“I think any parent will be happy. Pushing a project like Maya Awards Africa, by one’s self and never having to break any year, even when Covid-19 shut the world down, we had a TV Live Broadcast. The number of great positive feedbacks we’ve repeatedly gotten from winners also is another thing that pushes us to keep living the dream.”
The 10th edition will hold on the 11th of November, 2023 at the Mauve21 Events & Conference Centre, and the theme is Owambe.
