In a strong show of support, seasoned Nollywood actor and prominent voice-over professional, Segun Arinze, has been voted back in as President of the Association of Voice-Over Artistes (AVOA) Nigeria for another four-year term.
Arinze, who has consistently led efforts to advance the voice-over industry and advocate for its members, shared his heartfelt appreciation to the association for entrusting him with another term.
Great AVOAITES! I want to thank every member of our great Association for the confidence reposed in us… I look forward to an eventful four years ahead — taking AVOA to greater heights, consolidating gains for older members, and unlocking new opportunities for our young talents, Arinze stated in a message to members.
He acknowledged the challenges that lie ahead but emphasized that they can be overcome through unity and collaboration. He encouraged members to work together for the association’s progress.
In his initial term, Arinze was praised for introducing AVOA VOICEFEST, the association’s flagship empowerment event focused on nurturing talent and building skills. His leadership also took proactive steps to promote Nigerian voice talent, especially following new limits on foreign voice actors.
